The story of Arabic calligraphy unfolds through a poetic dialogue between a choreographed robotic performance and a complementary animation on screen. Following the introduction, visitors are invited to take part in the experience by practicing their own calligraphy skills—learning to trace a word in the elegant Arabic Thuluth style while guided step-by-step by on-screen instructions.

At the end of the journey, each visitor receives a personalised keepsake: a beautifully crafted bookmark with their name written by the calligraphy robot in the Arabic Thuluth script. Reading and writing share a deep, symbiotic relationship—they are fundamental to our intellectual growth and our pursuit of knowledge. The bookmark serves as a symbolic reminder of Qatar Foundation’s commitment to education and its vision to nurture research, learning, and innovation.
