Hala Ghatasheh is an architect and multidisciplinary artist specializing in the fields of immersive spatial experiences, digital art & design, projection, and audio-visual installations.
Commencing with a degree in architecture, Ghatasheh took off on an experimental journey exploring the mergence between the physical and digital worlds through her studies at the Bauhaus University Weimar.
Her work thrives to facilitate the integration of media & technology into the physical space, weaving hybrid collaborations between architecture, media arts, and sound, and creating multi-sensory spatial stories that communicate with the occupants and enhance their architectural experience.
Hala Ghatasheh is currently based in Germany, where she leads the design and development of large-scale immersive experiences and exhibitions. Her spatial design projects include country pavilions for the current world exhibition Expo 2020 in Dubai.
In addition, she collaborates with international artists and musicians on AV Live performances and spatial installations. Since 2017, she has been exploring the fusion of architecture, fashion and technology utilizing digital design and 3D printing with her label Conceptual Jewelry Design. She has presented her work at major festivals and exhibitions in Germany and abroad, including Genius Loci Weimar, Kunstfest Weimar, Amman Design Week and Berlin Design Week.
