Set within the iconic architecture of the Belgium Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020 by architect Vincent Callebaut, the exhibition design pays tribute to Belgium’s rich comic heritage. It unfolds as a walkable sketch of the future, presenting Belgian mobility innovations within a three-dimensional environment inspired by the iconic Ligne Claire comic style. Throughout the exhibition, cutting-edge developments in intelligent mobility are introduced and narrated by beloved comic heroes.

The experience culminates in a spectacular show that brings “Belgium 2050” to life, followed by an interactive finale where visitors become part of the future vision themselves—transformed into comic characters appearing alongside their favorite Belgian comic heroes.
