CONCEPTUAL JEWELRY DESIGN
In this Conceptual Jewelry collection, I am utilizing the skills I have gathered as an architect, and the latest advancements in Digital Design & Manufacturing in an interdisciplinary approach to design Jewelry.
As an architect, the first thing to do, before starting with the architectural design process, is a comprehensive site analysis. Studying the site, where the building is to be constructed, and understanding its topography, nature, qualities, needs, and context, to design a building that can blend in with its surroundings without being imposed on the site.
In this sense, I started studying the female figure, its natural form, and curvatures. Tracing the natural body shape & curvature to generate statement pieces that emerge from and merge into it, complementing its natural beauty, while standing out with their unique forms & complex geometries.
The collection pieces were designed and modeled using Digital & Generative Design tools, creating complex sculptures with intricate details, 3D printed in various metals including Brass & Steel.
An Experimental study exploring the infinite possibilities of merging Architecture, Fashion, and Technology.

This approach allows for more flexibility in design and production, as the pieces can be adjusted digitally to adapt to their function, material, and 3D printing requirements; adding the value of personification of the individual pieces, tailoring them to compliment various body types and shapes.
The intricate details, and complex forms generated through algorithmic design interact with light, creating interesting shadow patterns, that complement the sculptures, and complete their geometries.
The generated conceptual jewelry collection will debuted at Amman Design Week 2017 أسبوع عمان للتصميم | The Hanger Exhibition 06.-14. October 2017
